3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Patras, Greece

The Risksafe Project, which focuses on creating learning tools for the well-being of seniors and caregivers, reached an important step with its 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM). The meeting took place from February 24-27, 2025, in Patras, Greece, and was hosted by InterMediaKT. The project partners (COOSS, Frodizo, Hudiksvall Kommun, Turku AMK, InterMediaKT) came together to discuss the next steps and goals of the project.

During the four-day meeting, participants reviewed the progress made so far and focused on finalizing the training curriculum. This training will help caregivers, especially informal caregivers like family members or migrants, learn how to prevent risks and keep seniors safe in their daily lives. The finalized curriculum will soon be available on the project’s website for anyone to access.

The meeting also included a presentation of the RISKSAFE platform, an online tool that will provide training and support for caregivers. This platform aims to make learning about caregiving easy and practical, especially for those helping seniors with daily care.

The project team spent time discussing the management of the project, setting goals for the upcoming weeks, and planning how to make sure the training and platform reach as many people as possible. The collaboration between the partners helped ensure a strong plan for the future of the Risksafe Project.

With the success of this meeting, the project is ready to move forward and continue supporting the wellness of seniors and caregivers.
