Ask – Learn – Get Informed about Alzheimer’s

As part of World Alzheimer’s Month, InterMediaKT, in collaboration with the association Frodizo, is organizing the event RISKSAFE: Empowering Older Adults & Caregivers on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00 at My Way Hotel & Events.

Purpose of the Event

The event aims to raise awareness and inform the local community about Alzheimer’s disease, while also highlighting the important role of older adults and their caregivers. During the event:

Best practices and videos for the safety of older adults will be presented, as well as

Educational tools that contribute to the promotion of health and the enhancement of safety for older adults and their caregivers.

About the RISKSAFE Project

The RISKSAFE project seeks to develop a well-structured, comprehensive, and open e-learning platform designed to empower both older adults and informal caregivers. The platform offers:

Access to training materials and practical tools tailored to the needs of older adults.

Support for informal caregivers (such as family members, migrants, personal assistants, or social workers) who often lack prior training.

Flexible and accessible learning opportunities that take into account the specificities of later-life learning and communication.
